Dear Friend's and Client's,
I will take this opportunity to elaborate upon my experience’s and credentials in the Healthcare
field since 1977 after receiving my batchelors degree in Psychology from the University of California in Santa Barbara, California
and post graduate training in Clinical psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology in Berkeley,California.
I
then began a professional Practice of providing counseling & psychotherapy with my mentor and supervisor, Dr. Donald Slutzky,
M.D. (Psychiatrist/Physician).I functioned as his registered psychological assistant in his private practice for about two
years.
Thereafter, in 1979, I founded Humanistic Mental Health Foundation,(HMHF) a california non- profit organization
and served in the capacity of director and chairman of the board. My duties expanded to directing the administration,
while simultaneously maintaining a full counseling practice under the auspices and supervision of the Foundation and the senior
psychologist's and psychiatrist's on staff.
In 1985, I retired from active counseling /psychotherapy practice after over ten thousand clinical
hours so as to expand our operations. In 1989, HMHF became the primary national suicide prevention organization in the country.
During
this period, I also developed and managed holistic treatment programs for psychiatric hospitals. My studies and interest in
human behavior, psychology and the law have also afforded me the opportunity to bring certain important and serious concerns
over the insurance industry’s involvement in the mental health care profession before the U.S.Federal District
and Circuit Courts.
Presently, I am the Director and sole proprietor of 24 HR Counselor(24HR), (SH),, American
Marriage Counseling Association (AMCA),Rape Crisis Counselor(RCC) American Suicide Prevention (ASP), National Suicide
Prevention (NSP) and 24hrpsychotherapist.org.
My primary functions include director of operations & case management.
You may also be interested to know that our organization contracts with licensed mental health professional's who are
trusted members of our staff and as independent contractor's, receive compensation for their professional services directly
